An ‘Approval in Principle’ has been honored to following a hazard identification (HAZID) study, which was executed together with Lloyd’s Register and external experts. The goal was to uncover and identify risks and determine the effects of exposure to a hazard while also providing suggestions for mitigating risks. It was concluded the concept is safe and advice was given for the next steps in the process.

“Lloyds Register is proud to award Royal Huisman this Approval-in-Principle. The unique concept brings the shipyard in the lead for the application of hydrogen onboard large sailing yachts.
